16 Layers Chemical Multilayer Disc Drying Machine

On the basis of intermittent stirring dryer, a disc plate dryer is a kind of multi-layer fixed hollow heating circular carrier disc developed by continuous improvement, which is developed by continuous improvement. The drying process is to pass the heat carrier into each layer of hollow disc. According to the product performance, drying requirements and processing capacity, the disc dryer adopts a series of measures, such as adjusting the speed of spindle step-less, manually adjusting the height of the disc feeder, controlling the temperature distribution of each layer of the heating disk, and cooling at the end of the period, etc. Give full play to the disc continuous dryer's superior performance.

CPD Continuous Disc Plate Dryer Working Principle

The wet material is fed continuously from a feeder onto the top plate of the dryer. The rotating transport arms with plows transport the material in a spiral pattern across the heated surface of the plate. By this means, the product is repeatedly turned over and comes frequently into contact with the drying surface. The material is conveyed towards the outer rim on the small diameter plates, where it fall over the edge onto the large plate directly below. On this plate the material is moved inwardly toward the central opening through which the material falls onto the next small plate By means of this plate arrangement, the material is conveyed continuously through the drier. The dried material falls from the last plate onto the bottom surface of the drying chamber where it is conveyed by means of plows to the discharge duct. The moisture is evaporated from the material during transport through the drier, At the same time, the hot air after being filtered and heated is blown into the drying chamber. The temperature of the hot air is similar to the plates temperature and its main function is to convey the moisture from the material. The wet gas will be exhausted into the air after being filtered.

1. Normal pressure type: as low speed of air flow inside the equipment and moisture being high in upper part and low in lower part, dust powder couldn't float to the equipment, so there is almost no dust powder in tail gas discharged from the moist discharge port on the top.
2. Closed type: equipped with solvent recovery device that can recover organic solvent easily from moist-carrier gas. The solvent recovery device has simple structure and high recovery rate, and nitrogen can be used as moist-carrier gas in closed circulation for those subject to burning, explosion and oxidation, and poisonous materials in order for safe operation. Especially suitable for drying of flammable, explosive and poisonous materials.
3. Vacuum type: if the plate dryer is operating under vacuum state, it is particularly suitable for drying heat sensitive materials.
(5) Easy installation and small occupying area.
